This is an elaborate antique Royal Vienna-style Porcelain Hand-Painted Vase. While the mark on the bottom resembles the Royal Vienna Factory shield mark, it is in fact from the Bloch Eichwald Porcelain Art Factory that was in Bohemai, Austria (now a part of Czechoslovakia). It dates back to the late 19th century and is heavily gilded and poly-chromed enamel decorated, with extraordinary golden griffin or eagle handles. This large piece is exquisite with its cylindrical pedestal base, picturesque paintings, detailed hand-work, and vibrant colors. It is quite unique and a great find.
This vase/lidded urn stands 20" tall and is 9" wide from handle to handle, and it is 6" deep less
