Faux Elephant Tusk, Acrylic/Lucite and Glass 8 sided table with brass accents designed inspired by Karl Springer, Maitland Smith, Charles Hollis Jones, Eames, etc. The Acrylic/Lucite piece rests inside the Brass brackets and gives the illusion of a floating tabletop with a large thick beveled 8 sided glass resting on top. You can use this as a dining room table or as an Executive Desk. There are a few of these tables out in the World, believe me you will be the only one you personally know of that will have one.
The base features four faux elephant tusk legs attached to brass connectors and a acrylic/lucite piece to hold them in place. The tusks are a light ivory in color and made of a very sturdy and strong composite material with Strong Brass connectors. The brass caps at the end of the tusks that hold the Lucite piece that hold the tusks together is just over an inch thick with a 3 inch border, making it overall 16 1/4 inches wide by 36 1/2 inches long.
It is unmarked, but very reminiscent of designs by Karl Springer, Maitland Smith, Charles Hollis Jones, etc. Will compliment any Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, Mid-Century Modern decor.

The Octagon 8 sided glass ( in last 2 pictures ) is in very good vintage condition with a nick or two on the edge that I will try to fix. It has a 1 inch bevel and it is 3/4 inch thick. The glass table top in the first 6 pics was broken during moving and is not available.
The base is in Pristine Condition for its age, no breaks or no cracks! Very minor scuffs on tusks which do not take away from the beauty of this! less
