Circa Late 19th … more This is a Very Unusual Pair of Large Size Antique Hand Wrought Iron Block Ice Delivery Tongs. Circa Late 19th Century. They are Completely Hand Made - Hand Forged out of Wrought Iron. They are Embossed - Stamped B & M - R R. These were Actually Owned and Used for Ice Block Deliveries for Trains on the Boston & Maine Railroad. They are Also Embossed with the Makers Name - Aldobilt Company Chicago. They are in Very Nice Condition with Excellent Original Patina. They could be used in any number of ways for unique decoration etc.
They Measure 29 1/2 inches Tall x 10 inches Long x 4 1/2 inches Wide.
