1970's Mirror made entirely in Chrome with three tear details on each side, signed and dated Curtis Jere. Founded in 1963 by artists Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels and distributed by Raymor, a cutting-edge studio in New York City.
Recognized for their representational to highly abstract sculptures, wall sculptures and mirrors, another important aspect is, that Under Freiler's meticulous direction, their metal shop workers - a number of whom were minorities or handicapped - would shear, crimp, torch, and welded brass, copper, and other metals before coating them with luminous patinas.
