These Mallets would have … more This is a Very Rare & Unusual Pair of Antique American Folk Art - "Relic" Mallets. These Mallets would have been Made Out of Wood - Oak Logs Removed from the Historically Revolutionary War Related Old - Original Pittsgrove Presbyterian Church - Built in 1741 in Pittsgrove New Jersey. The Smaller Mallet ( Please See Listing Photograph ) is Marked RED OAK OLD PITTSGROVE CHURCH - 1741 Indicating that They were Made Out of Red Oak Removed from The Original Upper Pittsgrove Church. The Larger Mallet has No Markings but I am Quite Sure that it is Also a Pittsgrove Church Relic. They are in Excellent Original Condition and They Display Beautifully as a Pair.
The Larger Mallet Measures 4 1/2 inches Tall x 16 inches Long x 4 3/4 inches Wide.
The Smaller Mallet Measures 3 3/4 inches Tall x 11 inches Long x 2 1/2 inches Wide.
