Signed on the verso (back of the painting) and dated 1966. The painting measures 18 inches wide by 24 inches tall with a 1/4 inches wood liner in a mahogany frame. The overall measurements with the frame are 19.375 inches wide by 25.375 inches tall. He has had three paintings go through auction. One sold for $638., another $615. and the other sold for $850. There isn't a biography that I could find but I believe he was from Northern California or Seattle, Washington area since one of his paintings had a gallery tag from the Francine Seder's Gallery in Seattle, Washington. There are a couple spots of crazing please refer to the photos but the paint is stable. less
