I've coveted this a long time and will be sad to part ways with it. This is a hand-thrown set with an under-plate, teapot, creamer, and 5 teabag holders. I've never been able to find anything like it online for sale, though I did find an image of two matching mugs. Shri Krishan Kapoor trained in Japan, and then moved back to India in 1966 and started his business with one pottery wheel and 5 workers. I believe this is a very early set made in the late 60's or 70's. Hitkari is still in business today, but their products have changed over the decades. If you want something unique, this truly a special set. The serving tray measures 12.5" x 9". The teapot is about 6.5" tall and 9.5" handle to spout. The teabag holders are about 6" long.
