Contemporary mid-century modern abstract acrylic on canvas painting features strong colors and shapes in shades of blue, black, and grey with pops of pink, yellow, and white. Signed by Danish artist Antoni Adamski. At 40” W x 40” H, this large painting is sure to add interest to any décor from contemporary modern, Hollywood regency, palm beach chic coastal, or traditional style.
About the Artist:
Born in the north-east of Poland near the town of Kruszwica, Antoni Adamski moved to Inowroclaw at the age of 14. He started painting at the age of 9, but only received training in painting techniques after primary school, where he attended technical school with an internship at the crystal factory Irena.
Here Adamski learned about goodbye honors, about blowing glass, about shaping, and about ornamentation. Adamski continued his subsequent six years at Irena as a formist and glass artist. At the age of 21, after graduating, Adamski had his first exhibition of paintings in the cultural house Kruszwica. Later he started a shop and company selling paintings and antiques and sold his own paintings in both Poland and Italy.
Adamski painted the first many years naturalistic - inspired by the "great masterpieces", but after he moved to Denmark in 2004 he became acquainted with many new ways of painting and developed his own style: "cartoon"-like people in bright colors, fables, bodies in motion and rest in muted tones, and often with women as a favorite motif. Of his pictures, he says - "One of the most beautiful things in the world is bodies. In human bodies, I find inspiration, fascination, sensuality, and history. And to highlight the beauty of the human body, I will always find it relevant and challenging – for both the artist and the audience." l

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
