- A French Louis XV style fine deep rosewood bureau plat writing desk, the leather inset brass moulded edge top above … more A French Louis XV style fine deep rosewood bureau plat writing desk, the leather inset brass moulded edge top above three shaped frieze drawers with Rocaille handles, on cabriole legs with fine brass mounts and sabots. Louis XV style leather topped desk. Ormolu mounts and molded rectangular top inset with a tooled leather writing surface within a gilt metal egg and dart border above a frieze drawer. Drawers flanking the central drawer with gilt metal trim all on cabriole legs and sabot paw feet. Comes with upholstered wood chair. Good overall condition with wear. Measures approximately 49 in. x 29 in. x 31 in less
