A rare vintage First Edition full color and gold ink offset lithograph print of the letter M (from A Bible From the Limousine District), depicting The Venus of Antiquity being devoured by two mediaeval monsters. Comes from a First Edition art folio of The Letters from Manuscripts of the 8-12 centuries. Printed in 1949 in France by Editions du Chene. Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Excellent condition - never framed.
