Eagle Bay Heirlooms is pleased to offer this exquisite auction find. A late 19th Century hand blown art glass vase with the gentleness of summer rain. A pale shade of green, close to a celery with a translucent opaline body. This shape is similar to the Jack in the Pulpit which is usually more pointed upright. The gentle flowing waves of double crimped and ruffled edges around the rim are spectacular as is the dimpling affect.
It has been suggested in my research this piece could be attributed to "Kralik", a Bohemian Art Glass Co.
This is a great collectible for the art glass enthusiast.
Size: 6" High, the approximate top diameter is 6.5" wide and the base is 4" wide.
Condition: Excellent to mint condition, only suffering from the rough, burnt pontil on the base.
