This David Hockney rare vintage 1976 lithograph print framed iconic Pop Art Denmark exhibition poster " Pool & Steps. Le Nid Du Duc " 1971, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The lithograph print Pop Art exhibition poster is published by The Louisiana Museum for Moderne Kunst / Museum of Contemporary Art in Humlebaek Denmark. Printed in 1976 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the first solo exhibition of Hockney's artworks at the museum, February 7 - March 7 1976. It features an iconic artwork image originally created by Hockney in 1971 titled " Pool & Steps. Le Nid Du Duc ".

David Hockney ( B. 1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to the Pop Art movement of the 1960's. He is considered one of the most influential British artists of The 20th Century. His artworks have commanded greater popular acclaim than any other Contemporary British artist. The Pop Art Expressionist style artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Art works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print lithograph print framed exhibition poster measures 24 1/4" W X 33" H X 1" D. It is period custom framed with plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern turquoise teal blue metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition, with light signs of handling and very light minor wear to the frame molding. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price. less
