Chinese porcelain Da Ya Zhai fengweizun vase, gold glazed lip, imperial yellow glaze with large pattern iron wire craquelure on … Read more Chinese porcelain Da Ya Zhai fengweizun vase, gold glazed lip, imperial yellow glaze with large pattern iron wire craquelure on the body, white glazed interior and inset base, the red Da Ya Zhai mark and red Tian Di Yi Jia Chun cartouche at the neck flange. Two stylized red dragon handles covered with speckled patterns flank the neck, the body of the vase has finely drawn grisaille perching birds on trees amid branching pink and white plum blossoms. A four character red Yong Qing Chan Chun reign mark is glazed to the inset base. Circa early 20th century no later than mid century.

The traditional Chinese carved hongmu circular stand is included.
Height with stand is 15 3/4" high. Stand is 2 1/2" high x 5 1/4" diameter.

The mark Dayazhai (Studio of the Greater Odes) has been associated with the Dowager Empress Cixi. See less
