Lovely cerused reeded rattan 1 large and 1 small end table with glass tops in the manner of Gabriella Crespi. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. Color variances are inherent to the cerused finish. They say that happiness is found under a palm tree…. well, we have just what you need to bring that feeling of bliss and happiness right into your own home! This is a fabulous pair of cerused, reeded rattan end tables… 1 smaller “squircle…yes! It’s a real shape! Not really a square, not really a circle…a.k.a…squircle!” and 1 larger rectangle cerused rattan end table in the manner of Gabriella Crespi. Let’s start with the smaller table, it is comprised of four small arches bound together with leather straps and each side has gorgeous angled cerused, reeded rattan detail. If you’re unfamiliar with the term cerused, it’s much like white washing and it allows the natural shade of the rattan to come through from beneath the finish and gives it an Vintage hue. It’s just stunning!! This smaller table has a beautiful piece of glass that sets on top, but you could place a cushion there instead and use it as a tuffet or a foot stool. The larger rectangular table also has cerused, reeded rattan in the upper arches on the front of the table and inset with a fabulous palm fronds design on the sides. GORGEOUS!! A rectangle glass insets in the rattan top and all four corners are bound with leather straps. It’s absolutely fabulous!! They are organic modern and a little art deco in style and will blend in beautifully in any room that needs a little bit of “Crespian Style” ambience. And although we wouldn’t put these directly outside, can’t you just see this set on your covered porch, Floridian lanai, or in your sunroom adorned with foliage or books? Bring a little paradise into your home…make these end tables yours!!
