These set of vintage cups and saucers have been with me for many years. I cannot date them but looking at the imprinted markings JA26 on one of the saucers and Made in England printed in blue on the bottom of the cups and saucers, I noticed that they have a few transfer flaws, which indicates that they were in the early stages of Blue & White transfer printing.
They are in perfect condition and are lovely not just to have a good English cup tea, but for a café con leche too! The saucers are slightly larger and deeper than a regular saucer, so you can rest your biscuit on the saucer while enjoying your tea,
