The color could also be considered … more Although difficult to tell from our photos, the plates are a very light blue. The color could also be considered a light slate gray with a blue tint. Embossed around the rim is a rope-like pattern with vines, leaves and berries. These are oven proof, and very sturdy—each plate weighs 1.5 pounds.
