A pair of English Georgian style carved mahogany candle stands of elegant form. Hand-crafted in the second half of the 19th century, finished in Victorian Gothic Revival taste, having a circular platform dish top with molded edge, atop a tall fluted and turned single standard pedestal, rising on tripod base, resting on three out-swept stretcher-joined legs.
Beautiful dark mahogany coloring and rich, warm antique wood tones. Can be used as plant stands, decorative art display pedestals, tor·chière, high side tables, tall candle holders, or flanking an entry to make a dramatic statement.
