VIntage French milk glass / opaline match strike. Cone shaped white art glass with a center well to house the matches encircled by horizontally ribbed sides on which to strike the match. No maker's marks or country of origin indication but identical in design and materials to many we have previously imported from French and Belgian antique markets.
Excellent condition -- no chips, no cracks; minor fabrication flaws consisting of a clay splatter in the match well and small irregularities on the underside, none of which are visible when in use.
