This is a pair of large, high quality porcelain blue and white Balaster Temple Jar / Ginger Jar decorated with a leaf and scroll design. This is considered a foot stomp process on the porcelain, which gives it the rich Indigo and bone patina. These are fantastic decorative Ginger Jars. They are in a balaster shape with a heavy lid that comes topped with a large decorative foo dog. Additionally, it has some foo dog face handles around the top upper edge. This makes it possible to string a tassel through to tie in the front. This would looks amazing with your other blue and white pottery / ceramics. This can be used anywhere as a jar accent or a vase. These are our favorite Jars! Don't miss them!
