This is a Fine Quality - Absolutely Beautiful Set of Antique Sterling Silver Ice Tongs. It comes from the Classic American Victorian Aesthetic Period - Circa Approx. 1880. It is Signed - Was Made by one of Americas Premier Silver Companies - Dominick & Haff of New York. It is Rendered in their Very Rare and Sought After "Pond" Pattern. It has Hand Hammered Surfaces with the Technique of Deep Intaglio Engraving depicting a Wasp and a Beetle. Note! Also the Rain Cloud Design on the Arch. As a Finishing Touch is has a Beautiful Reticulated - Pierced Features. All in all Just a Wonderful Piece of Antique American Sterling Silver. It has a Substantial Solid Sterling Silver Weight of 68.58 Grams - 2.205 Troy Ounces. It is in Excellent Condition with Some Light Tarnishing. It Display Beautifully.
It Measures 6 1/2 inches Tall x 2 5/8 inches Long x 1 7/16 inches Wide.
