Description: This really is an absolutely fantastic hand-painted porcelain KPM plaque. It depicts two young children, a boy kneeling down putting … more This really is an absolutely fantastic hand-painted porcelain KPM plaque. It depicts two young children, a boy kneeling down putting the girls Dolly on the sailboat for a ride. The details are beautiful. The faces are wonderful. It reminds me a lot of some of the Danish artists. I believe this to be signed on the back by Artist “C. Kaupp”. There is also some other writing to the back of the tile in addition to the impressed KPM mark. The tile itself measures 9 1/4“ x 6 1/2“, framed 9“ x 12“. It is in its original card to go with the frame. The gilding shows crazy as pictured. The original cardboard backing is present but loose. less
