Traditional French / Belgian white match striker with tapered ribbed sides and central well to hold wooden matches. Use as intended or as an unique desk accessory for pens, pencils, paper clips, etc. A great decorative accent for any home or office. Mark of Baudour Fuisseaux, Belgian porcelain fabricator located on the France / Belgium border dates the piece to the mid 19thC (1850s) to the early 20thC (before 1918).
Very good antique condition; one old repair to rim, as shown.
