Printed on Hahnemuehle Fine Art Photo paper in museum quality, Archival pigment print. It comes unframed, rolled in tube, professionally packed. The print has an additional white paper boarder (about 1 or 2 inch wide) with original signature and edition-number on it.
Delivered, with a certificate of authenticity and also with a separate signed label to stick on the back when mounted (see examples at photos).

CARRARA MARBLE MINES 2017
Above the city of Carrara in the Apuan Alps in Italy there are the Carrara Marble Mines where the creamy white stone is extracted.
The exceptional quality of this marble is know since roman times, when the roman empire already used it for the construction of their most prestigious monuments and sculpting.
The noble marble from Carrara was valued by various artists and masters including Michelangelo, Da Vinci,  Bernini and Rodin ...
The Carrara quarries have produced more marble than any other place on earth. Working in the quarries has been dangerous and continues so to this day.

Since 2010, Bernhard Lang has captured the earth's surface in his photo series "Aerial Views". To take these pictures from the heavens, Lang takes off in helicopters and small aircrafts.
The Aerial Views project received numerous awards, such as 1st place at Sony World Photography 2015, 1st place International Photography Awards (ipa) 2015 and was nominated for Prix Pictet 2016. See less
