This Hilma Af Klint Swedish Abstract lithograph print extra large monumental custom framed Denmark exhibition poster " Grupp IV Dio Tio Storsta. NR 7, Mannaaldern " 1907, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection. Published by The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art Denmark, printed in 2019 in an unnumbered limited edition in conjunction with the exhibition " Abstrakt Pioneer " of the Abstract artworks of Hilma Af Klint.
The exhibition poster print features an artwork image originally created by Af Klint in 1907 titled " Grupp IV De Tio Storsta, NR 7, Mannaaldern ( Group IV, The Ten Largest, No.7, Adulthood ", copyright 2019 Stifteslen Hilma Af Klints Verk, exhibit organized by Moderna Museet Stockholm, in collaboration with Hamburger Banhof Museum geyerwart Berlin, Museo Picasso Malaga, and Louisiana Museum of Modern Art Humlebaek Denmark.
Hilma Af Klint ( 1862 - 1944 ) The Swedish artist and mystic who's paintings were amongst the very first Abstract artworks ever created. A considerable body of her Abstract work predates the first purely Abstract compositions of Kandinsky. She belonged to a group called " The Five ", a circle of women who shared a belief in the importance of trying to make contact with the so - called " High Masters ", often by way of seances. Her Abstract paintings which sometimes resemble diagrams were usually representations of complex spiritual ideas, were never exhibited publicly in her lifetime.
The extra large monumental format lithograph print framed exhibition poster measures 40 3/4" W X 57 3/4" H X 1 1/4" D. it is custom framed with UV Protective plexiglass in a matte satin finish black metal Modern box style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition, it is brand newly custom framed and has never been displayed. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price. less
