Loraine Elizabeth Moore (1911–1988) was an American printmaker. Active in Oklahoma. This is a fantastic lithograph of a very beautiful young black girl. You can just see the innocence in her expression. It really is moving! The actual image measures 12” x 15 1/2”, framed 21” x 25”. It is from around 1950. It is an aqua tent Etching. It is pencil signed By artist and numbered 4/30. It comes in the original frame from the estate it was purchased. The print itself is in very good condition.
Her work is included in the collections of the Seattle Art Museum, the National Gallery of Art, Washington and the Dallas Museum of Art. less
