Solid wood painted to look exactly like richly veined marble comprises the pediment base, the subtly tapered central shaft, and the top which is removable and able to swivel. Gold highlighted laurel wreath encircles the central shaft at its base, with an ancient Egyptian-inspired capital atop the shaft just under the aforementioned swiveling top.
