The lamp is in good vintage condition. There are some Some marks and imperfections on the finish near the bottom of the base, as well as age related patina. Which look like old tape residue, and paint splatter. Imperfections shown in photos.finial is not original.

Designed by Richard Barr. Brutalist cast metal table lamp in plated Florentine brass by Laurel Lighting Co. This is a well-known design and is an excellent example of the 1970s brutalist aesthetic. Design detailing features a mix of polished and satin, smooth and etched planes. Wider base that narrows toward the top. Includes a solid brass cube finial, the finial is not original. And narrow cotton drum style shade. Made in USA tag on back near cord. Part of the Laurel Lighting Co. Sticker is shown in the last photo. Has been confirmed by a curator of the Laurel Lamp foundation. Please see copy below from the foundation:
“Our curator can confirm this is a Laurel Lamp Company piece. The blue sticker is a UL laboratories certification which originally read “Laurel Lamp Mfg. Co., Inc.”
Your piece is Laurel H-1305 finished in Florentine satin brass. The piece was first available in this style in the 1977 Laurel catalog.
However, a version of this same design was actually first seen in 1965. Both pieces were designed by Richard Barr.”
Cord is 78”long. Made in USA sticker on base. Newly added felt on bottom. less
