1960s Replogle 'Comprehensive' globe composed of paper gores over plastic with a cast aluminum half-meridian all mounted to a walnut base equipped with two upright dividers for papers, letters, etc. A perfect desk accessory that additionally has a functional lighting mechanism (wiring is new, and lamp is operational).
Sans minor spots in places / light general wear, the globe is in very good, vintage condition. Walnut has been refinished; only minor wear (including a small spot, as shown) remains.
The globe itself measures 12" in diameter.
The base alone is: D: 5.25" x L: 12.5"
Including the base, the total measurements are: H 15" x L 14" x D 12" (globe diameter).
