• This vintage handmade Gobelin is done in a combination of needlepoint and petit point techniques, which make it look like a real picture when viewed from a distance. A Gobelin is much more than "just a tapestry" It is hours upon hours of attention to detail, patience, endurance, and a lot of wear on the eyes. More than 360 hours of very precise hand work.

• Beautiful, high quality needlepoint work. Definitely a one-of-a-kind work of art from a master embroiderer. The intricate arrangement of the colors and shades make this a truly exquisite piece of needlepoint. 26 different shades of floss used.

• This kit was a diagram-scheme with counted stitches, which is incredibly difficult to master. This method is incredibly time consuming so it takes a lot longer to complete as compared to the kits on printed colored canvas. A gobelin should not be looked just as a kind of tapestry. It is much more than that.
