Before he turned his lens toward a bold vision of fashion, famed photographer Herb Ritts grew up among the shelves of lucite objects his parents Herbert and Shirley Ritts had launched into a booming post-warn interior decor market from Los Angeles, California.
These fascinating 1970s-era Ritts Company bookends feature thin bands of bronze-like material trapped inside the lucite in a random, "shattered" pattern that varies from every angle.
Part of the “Moonscape" collection of Astrolite Lucite items.
Each bookend is 5.5"H x 5.5"W x 2.5"D. Together, they form a semicircle 11" wide.
