Rest your wary feet like royalty with this rare Louis XIV period small French Provincial bench. Made of richly patinated Circassian walnut and beautifully carved with molded base known as “Os de Mouton” (mutton-bone) and central stretcher over scroll feet. Unusual small proportions and recently reupholstered in modern white fabric embroidered with a blue-gray design. Provence, circa 1690.
