An antique pair of three-light candle holders in copper and brass with multi-colored enamel accents, crafted at the beginning of the 20th century in the German and Austrian Jugendstil / Secessionist style. The mixed metal candelabra pair have brightly colored enameled accents of red, yellow, green, and blue around each circular foot.
Apparently unmarked, measuring 9.5 in. height x 8 in. wide (at candle cups) x 4.75 in. diameter (at foot) and designed to hold standard sized taper candles. Both candle holders are in good condition with expected signs of age and wear and an old patina with darkened areas and hints of verdigris. One foot rim is bumped at the side but the design is stable and sits flat on a tabletop. less
