Edward Robeson Taylor (September 24, 1838 – July 5, 1923) was the 28th Mayor of San Francisco, serving from July 16, 1907 to January 7, 1910. Photograph taken by and signed "Wm. Keith". William Keith (1838-1911) was one of the leading western landscape painters of the late nineteenth century moving to San Francisco in 1859. Retains original mat with pencil inscription verso.
