Extraordinary pair of rare mid century Italian abstract lamps by the Marbro Lamp Company. The Marbro name was always synonymous with exceptional artistry and quality in lighting design and these lamps are certainly no exception. Measuring in at immense 45" in height and over 20 pounds each these are definitely statement pieces. Bitossi, Zaccagnini and Fantoni produced several designs for Marbro but I have been unable to specifically identify this exact design other than its Italian origin. It was honestly quite difficult to track down any other examples based on the evidently very low production run.
Each lamp has been completely disassembled, lightly cleaned and fully rewired. All ceramic and hardware are in very well preserved cosmetic condition and each lamp functions normally. less
