This is an incredibly rare … more You are looking at a design that originated from the very beginning of Dutch modernism! This is an incredibly rare pair of BN-1 chairs designed by Dutch designer Wim den Boon in 1947 for maker Hein Stoller. You're much more likely to see his designs in a catalog or book than in person these days. They are made from bent laminated plywood with a black lacquer finish. Quite small and compact in size but still comfortable. This pair is definitely for serious collectors and connoisseurs of early designs of modernism.
