Excellent quality, craftsmanship, and detailing throughout, hand-crafted by skilled artisans in Indonesia, finished in luxuriously sophisticated Louis XVI style, the design after legendary Parisian master menuisier and French royal cabinetmaker, Georges Jacob, featuring an elaborately carved stylized acanthus leaf fiolate adorned solid wood frame, the backrest is crowned with finials surmounted by carved openwork floral laurel leaf wreath crest, accented with rosette medallions, beaded trim ornamentation, nicely shaped arms, all richly gilded, in a patinated, distressed and antiqued finish. Upholstered backrest and seat with quality cushion, dyed leather in a rich, deep burgundy - dark red wine tone.

Great condition, with original vintage patina, warm, rich coloring. The leather seat cushion and backrest are distressed, worn, with signs of use and age, including light fading, surface scratches and cracking. All do not detract from the overall beauty or functionality of the stunning piece, but only add to the antique character, charm and depth. less
