Pair of hefty hand carved stone sculpture crouching guardian recumbent temple foo dogs or dragons. Each rises organically out of a single piece of stone with a dimpled plinth base. Very unusual. Stone is primarily a deep bluish-gray tone with some light white veining and brown spots in a few places, appears to be granite or similar stone.
Suitable for outdoor garden use. Unmarked, but likely older Chinese. Measurements are for each piece. less
