The case top bears characteristic Seymour School lunette inlay on the … more American Sheraton mahogany chest with graduated cock beaded drawers. The case top bears characteristic Seymour School lunette inlay on the edge of the single board mahogany top. The corners of the case are turreted with ring-turned dies over engaged reeded columns terminating in tall ring and spike turned feet. The legs are joined by a scalloped apron across the front and the sides of the case. The drawers are fitted with replaced oval brasses and bail handles in the original borings which center on cast brass rim key escutcheons.
