The 18th century bachelors chest of drawers is very well made of a rich mahogany wood with dovetail joints. There are heavy brass drawer pulls, and carry handles on each side for easy maneuvering. The brass hardware has a fantastic aged patina, but could be polished if preferred. The drawers have an aged blue paper lining. There are locks on each of the three drawers, but there is no skeleton key to accompany the piece. Just a fantastic storage piece with so much history and charm! less
