Crafted in Lyon during the reign of King Louis XV nicknamed the Bien-Aimé (the Beloved), this walnut commode features a rectangular top with serpentine front, following the lines of the façade below. Three drawers, each carved with foliage and fitted with bronze hardware, are resting on four short cabriole feet connected through a carved apron.
