Created in Italy during the later years of the 18th century, each of this pair of candlesticks features a painted body accented with gilt motifs. Carved with acanthus leaves and fluted patterns, this pair of late 18th century neoclassical candlesticks, resting on hoof feet, will make for a great decorative addition, perhaps placed above a credenza, enfilade or console table.
