It … Read more A captivating black and white photograph by photo journalist Andrew Holbrooke capturing three little boys in a tiny village. It is mounted on board and signed and dated in the lower right and preserved in a simple chrome frame. Image size is 11 x 13; outside measurements are 17x20. A charming image.

Andrew Holbrooke began his professional career after graduating from N.Y.U.'s School of the Arts with a degree in film and television.  
He has worked throughout the world, including: Northern Ireland, Somalia, Cambodia, Burma, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Pakistan, The Philippines, Thailand, Romania, Turkey, Niger, Kenya, Colombia and Indonesia.  
Holbrooke has been honored with numerous Pictures of the Year/National Press Photographer's Association awards, a World Press Photo award, an Art Director's Club award, and the Harry Chapin, "Best Photojournalism" award from World Hunger Year.  
He is a 2004 NYFA Photography Fellow.  
His work is in the permanent collections of the George Eastman House and is part of the video, "The Power of the Image," on permanent display at the Newseum. It is also one of the 100 images in the Pictures of The Year (POYi) 75 Year Retrospective Exhibit at The Newseum taking place for the duration of 2018. 
His clients include: The New York Times Magazine, Life, Time, Newsweek, U.S. News and World Report, Smithsonian, The Boston Globe Magazine, Mother Jones, Paris Match, IBM, Exxon, and Mobil Oil.  
He has lectured at The Americas Society and Asia Society. 
He is a Getty Images contruting photographer.
