Hand blown pair of blown glass candlestick holders. They are multi-colored, mostly green, purple and black, with areas of gold leaf. Signed illegibly D Garcia, 1995.
Approximate dimensions 3.75" diameter at the base, 10" high.
David Garcia was born in San Francisco, CA in 1957 and now works in Yacolt, WA. From 1978 to 1980, Garcia became interested in glass, both flat and hot, and studied stained glass with Paul Dufour. After studying with Leighton and Lipofsky Garcia in 1983 began working independently out of Shaun Weisbach’s studio and founded and built his own hot glass shop in 1987.
