This magnificent work of art was purchased at an artist’s craft fair during the 1960s. Unfortunately. I cannot find. A date of signature.

The piece was acquired from the original owners who had purchased it from the artist, on the Gold Coast of Florida

I have seen and sold many types of sunburst sculptures and clocks over the years but for me, this one has extraordinary craftsmanship, beautiful hand detailing and exquisite burnishing

The extraordinary size sets it apart from many others l have sold. This sculpture is the one you displayed over the fireplace focal, warm, and dramatic. Atomic jewelry!

The center has hand-cut abstract designs. The outwardly radiating rays are double layered and are completed with hand-forged mottled and burnished disks at the ends

The rays form two concentric circles adding to the intricacy of this work.

The piece is in wonderful vintage condition.

Absolutely the center’s piece of any modernist home or mid century atomic ranch.
