Patina and color: The finish on the sculptures are not paint, but instead a patina which is the result of a chemical reaction from metals and oxidation during the crafting process. Different chemicals react with the bronze to achieve different colors and shading. (**some models may have painted accents or highlights**) Maintenance: Bronze sculptures require little maintenance when used indoors or outdoors and will oxidize naturally from the earths' elements. Cleaning can be done to your bronze sculpture with mild soap and water. Waxing your sculpture annually with a clear coat of wax will protect the metal, retaining the natural colors and protecting the existing patina.
