We are selling this absolutely stunning Chinese Flambe or Oil streaked vase. This vase has a background color of a rich blue which has been streaked with white droplets, this is a very unusual glaze for Chinese pottery but we believe it probably is a Shiwan glaze from the port of Canton. The bottom of the vase is marked with a reign mark of the Yongzheng Emperor but we believe the vase actually dates to the early to mid 20th century Republic period. Whatever the age of the vase the glaze is just absolutely beautiful.
Condition: Good condition, neck is not perfectly straight from the potting.
