Set of 4 porcelain playing card suite themed dishes, made in Japan. This set is all things fun, unique and rare! It includes 4 small dishes: one in the shape of clubs with a King of clubs card in the center, one in the shape of a diamond with a Queen of diamonds card in the center, one in the shape of a heart with a Queen of hearts card in the center, and one in the shape of spades with a King of spades card in the center. Each piece has a lovely metallic gold rim detailing and metallic unique metallic gold detailing around the card motifs. The undersides are marked in green "JAPAN". They would make the perfect gift for a card shark or excellent and unique decor for your game room or dining room. You could serve snacks in them or simply set them out as catchalls or displays.
Condition:
Great vintage condition with no cracks or chips. The paint and gold detailing has worn a bit in some areas, consistent with age.
