#2 is The Suruga District in Edo, Tōto Surugachō, Eastern Capital
#19 is Sagami Shichirigahama The Seven Ri Beach in Sagami Province
36 Views of Mt. Fuji original series was published in 1858
Very good impression, colour and condition. Signed Hiroshige. Vertical print on Washi paper. Good bleed through, excellent bokashi & desired baren marks.
These smaller post card size/mini prints were made after WWll in Japan for locals and foreigners alike, as a momento of their visit. The detail is incredible and the artist allows us a look back in time via these little portals of artwork. Wood block is an extremely time consuming and exacting art. Very collectable now.
