Wikkelso's … Read more Stunning large Danish modern 1960s sofa designed by Illum Wikkelso as model 444 for Aarhus Møbelfabri the early 1960s. Wikkelso's sofa design of the 1960s were really some of the coolest and most iconic sofa designs of the 1960s Denmark and while has not achieved quite the fame of some of his contemporaries his designs are enduring and increasingly sought after. The original mohair velvet and padding are still in usable condition but the fabric shows significant wear and needs to be replaced.
