They are painted throughout with pink and yellow peonies against green foliage with butterflies scattered throughout. They design was crafted for the pattern to meet and carry over from the vessel onto the lid. They are quite an interesting and unique silhouette in contrast to traditional ginger jars. They are perfect for any collector or to go with any Palm Beach Regency or Chinoiserie decor. Made in China. Like new. The other jar shown in the pics is also listed separately in my shop.
